Humidity is the dominant local process issue
In a tropical climate, soap base picks up moisture quickly and soap being processed loses heat slowly. Both affect your settings. Store soap base dry and off the floor, use it in rotation, and expect to adjust the milling gap and cooling settings for ambient conditions rather than copying values from a temperate-climate reference. The drying or cooling stage deserves more attention here than in a dry climate.
