Quality control is easy to claim and hard to verify. This page sets out exactly what is checked, when, and what evidence you receive, so you can hold us to it.
Stage 1 — Incoming material check
Every machined part and purchased component is checked when it arrives against the drawing specification: dimensions, material grade, surface finish and, for electrical items, the brand, rating and certification of the unit supplied. Parts that fail are rejected before assembly. This is where most quality problems are actually prevented, because a defect caught at goods-in costs a part, and the same defect caught after shipping costs a machine.
Stage 2 — Assembly check
Contact surfaces and wetted parts are confirmed as stainless steel, welds and joints are checked, and the electrical assembly is checked against the specification for the destination country: voltage, frequency, phase, motor rating, overload protection, earthing and interlock wiring. The electrical specification is confirmed in writing to the customer as built, not as ordered.
Stage 3 — Running test before packing
Assembled machines are run before packing. Drives are checked for correct rotation and load, controls are verified through their full range, safety interlocks and emergency stops are tested, and on vacuum machines the achieved vacuum level is recorded. Machines are run long enough to reveal wiring and mechanical problems that only appear once the machine is warm.
Stage 4 — Photographic and video record
The tested machine is photographed, including the nameplate and the electrical panel, and a short video is taken of it running. This record is sent to the customer before shipment. It is the customer’s evidence of what was built, and it is also the record we refer to if there is ever a question about the specification.
Stage 5 — Packing inspection
Before the case is closed we confirm that the accessories and spare parts listed on the order are in the shipment, that contact surfaces are protected and moving parts braced, and that the packing list with weights and dimensions matches what is in the case. Spare parts travel in the same shipment, because a spare part sent separately costs several times more than the part.
Independent inspection
You may appoint a third party to inspect the machine before shipment. Tell us at the order stage and we will make the machine available on the right date with test material ready. We would rather resolve a query at our workshop than after the container has sailed.
What we will not do
We will not issue a certificate we have not earned, and we will not write a technical parameter into a document that the machine does not actually achieve. If you need a specific certification for your market, tell us before you order and we will tell you honestly what can and cannot be provided.
