Key Features
Cut accuracy is weight accuracy
Soap is extruded by volume, so a cut that is 1 mm short on a 70 mm bar is roughly 1.4% light in weight. On a 200 g bar that is under 3 g — acceptable. On a 100 g hotel bar it is a visible difference. If your bars are small, cut accuracy becomes a much more important specification than it looks.
Cutting warm soap
Soap cuts cleanly when it is at the right temperature and hardness. If the billet is too warm it smears and deforms at the cut; too cold and it cracks. The cutter works with the cooling and conditioning stages, so order them as one process rather than three separate purchases.
Blades are consumables — buy spares up front
Blades wear and get damaged by hard inclusions. Establish a spare blade stock from day one and record how long a set lasts on your formulation. A blade change in the middle of a production run is a small problem; having no spare blade is a stopped line.
Multi-product flexibility
If you intend to sell more than one bar size, make sure the cutter can be changed over quickly and that the changeover is repeatable. Ask for the changeover procedure in writing during commissioning and keep it with the machine.

Can it cut different bar sizes?
Yes. The cutter frame is adjustable, and the number of blades can be changed. For factories making several products we recommend confirming the full size range at the quotation stage so the machine is built with enough adjustment travel.
Will I need a separate stamper after the cutter?
If you need a logo or a shaped profile on the bar, yes. The cutter produces blanks; the stamping machine presses the final shape and logo. For plain laundry bars with no branding, cutting alone is sometimes enough.
How do I control bar weight?
By matching the extrusion rate to the cut length, then checking the weight on a scale at the start of every run. Track weight per shift on a simple sheet. Drift in bar weight is normally the first sign that the plodder or cutter needs attention.
