A three roller mill cannot take a whole soap block. The chipper sits between the mixer and the mill and reduces cooled soap into chips small enough for the mill to grip and grind evenly.
Where It Fits in a Soap Production Line
- Reducing cooled soap blocks into mill-feed chips
- Breaking up soap noodles and reclaimed soap for remelting
- Preparing recycled or off-spec soap for reprocessing
- Feeding a three roller mill at a controlled rate
- Sitting between the mixer / cooler and the mill

Key Features
Skip it and the mill suffers
Feeding a mill with oversized lumps causes it to stall, to run hot, and to produce an uneven sheet while the lumps work through. Overloading the mill is one of the more common causes of roller damage — and rollers are the most expensive part to replace.
Chip size vs mill throughput
Smaller, more consistent chips feed the mill more evenly, which gives a steadier output and less temperature swing. Set the chipper so the mill is fed at a constant rate rather than in surges.
Reclaiming off-spec soap
Many plants use the chipper to reclaim trimmings, off-spec bars and rejected batches. If you plan to do this, tell us at the quotation stage — reclaimed soap is harder and more abrasive than fresh chips and changes the wear rate on the mill.
Price, MOQ and Lead Time
Price depends on throughput, feed opening size and drive configuration. Send your target output and the size of the soap blocks you will feed and we will confirm the model and the FOB price.
MOQ 1 set. Payment terms: T/T, L/C at sight, or as agreed. Sea freight, spare parts and installation service can be arranged on request.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a chipper for a small line?
If you mill your soap, you need some way of reducing it to mill-feed size. On very small outputs this is sometimes done manually, but manual chipping is inconsistent and slows the mill. A chipper is normally worth having as soon as you have a mill.
Can it handle recycled soap?
Yes, and this is one of its main uses. Tell us if a significant portion of your feed is recycled, because it changes the hardness and the wear on the blades.
